On November 19, 2015, CBS Corporation was one of the businesses that took part in the Veterans Resource Expo at New York City College of Technology in Brooklyn. Veterans had access to mentors for small businesses, education, benefits counseling and career development workshops. The event was free to veterans and their families. Richard M. Jones, CBS Corporation Chief Veteran Officer gave a key note speech during this event, "It is our commitment to make sure we do everything we possibly can using all of our resources, specifically a great reach to our nation through our broadcast networks to make sure that the sacrifice of our nations veterans are never ever taken for granted or ever forgotten."
